Relación entre posición mandibular y postura cervical en pacientes con retrognatismo

Abstract

There has been a study on a group of 18 patients, carriers of a dentoskeletal dismorphosis class II, with the objective to determine a certain kind of relationship between retrognathism and a cervical posture. We used profile teleradiographs taken in the natural head position, using the cephalometrical analysis of Delaire and Solow. The obtained results allowed us to conclude that there exists a direct relationship between the posterior mandibular psoition that patients with dentoskeletal dismorphosis class II presents and the cervical posture, determining that if the mandibular position in the crevical column in bigger.
